About LTNE
A practical answer to a quiet crisis: who pays the caregivers?
Love Thy Neighbor Enterprises LLC is a community-based for-profit social enterprise. We exist to fund community-based charitable needs — beginning with paid support for family caregivers who are already caring for homebound relatives and vulnerable neighbors.
We are not a tax-exempt nonprofit. We are a transparent, mission-led company that uses subscriptions, sponsorships, advertising, and community storytelling to put dollars behind work that compassion has carried for free for far too long.
Founder story
LTNE started at a kitchen table, in conversations about people we love. Family members worn out from years of care. Neighbors who needed a ride, a meal, a phone call. Faith communities ready to help but unsure how to organize the help.
We kept hearing the same thing: “No one pays the caregivers.” The work gets done out of love, but love alone doesn't pay rent. So we set out to build something honest — a company that raises revenue from people who want to help, and routes it directly to the people doing the work.
We chose a for-profit social enterprise model intentionally. It lets us move quickly, pay contractors transparently, and stay accountable to our community of subscribers and sponsors. If a nonprofit structure ever serves the mission better — and our legal counsel agrees — we'll revisit it openly.
